Sand Bar in Huron

Great food and service..

I love burgers and fries here but my hubby had a really bad experience with his old favorite chicken Philly sandwich. The sandwich is no longer his favorite. White meat is not used. Instead, a shredded mystery meat with green peppers was used. It made him sick as well. Definitely not a $9.00 sandwich in which we paid..$2.00 extra for fries..DO NOT get this sandwich... HORRIBLE!!!! We were not made a new sandwich or no discounts were given... Will not go back!

Have heard this place has great perch sandwiches. Drove up to Huron to find the place. Sits off the water, small eating area and bar. Waitress was friendly and quick. Sandwich was large and very tasty. Would be a great place for summer.

Great bar to have drinks and food!! Servers and bartenders are wonderful!!! I would recommend this place to all!

Fun, beach side local bar and grill. Excellent perch and underrated pizza. Good draft beer selection.

Sandbar is a bar and a restaurant in both will are compatible and do very well. And the food is good and it's plentiful. Service is great that's a pleasure to be there for lunch

Nice lil hometown bar...walking distance to the Beach.

I go there often, food is good especially the perch and pizza and often the specials which they have daily. It is small and waits on Friday and Saturday around dinner time can be long, there is no real seating arrangement just wait for an open table and hope to get it before someone else. Waitresses are nice but very slow and so is the kitchen. Drinks reasonable prices but not fancy. Good TVs with local sports on and owner/manager often around.

Love the new owner and love the food. Fair prices as well! Would recommend to a friend.

I have been frequenting this establishment since I was a kid, and recently changed it owners. The pizza is still to die for, other menu items not so much. Employees are friendly and service is fabulous.

Cute little place. Very hidden. Nice service. Clam chowder was as good as advertised.

The food is good. But the service is awful and you wait way too long even when there’s nobody in there. We waited 50 minutes for a pizza when nobody was there.

Came from out of town for a night. Some of the friendliest bar tenders I have ever been served by. Highly recommend.

Got the steak special. Was just as good/better than the brand name locations. The coleslaw was a bit dry...only complaint.

Food was good waitress unfortunately was more concerned with texting rather than taking care of customers. Even after asking for more ranch she stood there texting on her phone then walked away.

1 of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. First of all I had to go find someone to take our order. Not to mention that the place was dead. The special was cabbage rolls, they were so cold. I had to send them back. 10.50 though for a perch sandwich. Really. What you raise the prices up for the summer, that's not how you get customers. I didn't feel welcomed at all. Very overpriced food here. I definitely will not be returning again. What happened to the Sandbar. So sad.

This great little hole in the wall has a fantastic beach location.. it's quiet, calm and has really good service. The food is homemade and the quality shows. It's small and the menu it a little limited but it's good.

We stopped in for a drink and some food. Onion rings were top notch. I had the perch sandwich my girl had the wings. The fish was awesome, wings were awesome, great waitress and service. Will be back to enjoy another great day soon. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I ordered 2 pizzas about 2 months ago . One was burnt the other 1was great. I called & told them about it ,they said the manager was gone for the night he would call on his next shift. Never heard from him. I've had the pizza there before .....It was so delicious . I told my daughter how good it was . She got the good one .

Ever since the new owner changed the food not the same great local place to eat. Chef Boryradee makes better pizza in a box.

Burger was HUGE. Got a pizza to go which was as good as I remembered it. Had not been there in years but good as always. I used to go more often when I lived in Huron.

Excelente service, Perch was fresh! Waitress was asked to surprise wife with a good drink... an she nailed it! Good job!

The place is nor the same...sad! The perch was cold and rubbery, the pizza ..meh. The waitress was not friendly and kind of threw things on the table. Sadly after all these years we will not come back

Gotta love the Sand Bar! Plenty of pub grub, and several types of drinks abound.

The food was good, nice quiet little atmosphere. The staff was kind too! We will definitely check it out again.

It's pretty good for a little bar. The food is a bid greasy and the service a little slow, but I think it's a good beach vacation joint. Beer is cold and the fries are hot. The pizza was worth getting and so was the buffalo dip... Except the dip was suuuuuper greasy.
